    I've been avoided and ignored about 90% of my life saying I'm shy and lack social skills is a bit of an understatement. Quite litterally in 7th grade most the school forgot i even existed and this was a small town school

      Maybe try an LGBT dating app or sites to meet people if your single.
      That get you more chance of interaction.

      I know a shy friend met their girl friend through our friendship group, but they were using a dating app before to go out on dates. That worked for them.
