So I've noticed only guys twice ny age ever approach me. I mean granted in super attracted to guys that age but I don't understand why men my age don't ever approach me. Do you guys have similar things going on? Is it normal?
Even my fat female friend gets asked out by guys her own age. Not as much as her curvy or slim friends but there are a few guys interested in her at uni, even when she has a boyfriend.
To be brutally honest it's probably because you're trans. I know they have less dating options (Most straight guys and lesbians and gay men arn't into it.), And trans people don't tend to date each other.
I know a trans male who gets rejected 99% time by girls and asked out chicks a whole damn lot. Haha His voice gives him away as trans and his height, but he's a good looking enough for a dude, but looks like he's in his late teens even when he's in his late 20s (another give away of being a trans male for him personally he told me).
Noticed old dudes go for easy chicks or the what ever they think they have a chance at. I've seen old dudes be cute to hot girls, but they'ed never ask them out. More just fun cheeky flirting.
And young guys do ask people out their own age, we got so many dating apps and hook up apps to prove that. Lol

Yeah he's just one of the ones who finds it hard to pass, guess hormones effects everyone differently.
But there's another trans dude who's good friends with one of my female friends who looks really masculine (has a full blown beard and he's ripped. Lol

Yeah definitely give LGBT dating apps a go if you like, and single and ready to mingle. Lol or go to some LGBT events if you like hanging around that type of group.
Younger men have little confidence usually. They are chock full of hormones and want to ask women out but at the same time are not always sure what to say. They are also terrified of rejection.
Older men are not as horny and just do not give a rat's ass if someone says "no".

All my male friends have asked out at least one girl in the past 2 years of they were single, or asked and ended up just having a hookup. And it's very easy to get hook up in this day an age. Can even meet a lot of girls who just want fun but no strings attached. Where's the fear in rejection of that?
It's rare to see girls ask guys out because of tradition and maybe fear of rejection. Seems like that in the land down under.

Older guys are more confident. Also, you say you're really shy - again, older guys tend to be into that. They prey on younger women a bit. I don't necessarily mean that in a bad way, I just think that younger guys aren't as into the shy thing, whereas the older ones find it hot and like the chance to be in charge and sweep you off your feet.
And hey, at least you get asked out! Hardly ever happens to me. The day I put a wedding ring on it's like I became invisible lol.

I would like a relationship BUT I am not willing to get off my ass to look for one. Being MTF and trying to date women is a bit tricky.
