In all fairness, if people did research (on the internet or otherwise), they'd learn that you don't catch a cold from not wearing a scarf. Also that a sore throat and fever actually could be a side effect of HIV but that there are specific ways that you would contract HIV and if you haven't been sharing needles or having unprotected sex, it's more likely just a common cold. Or you could bother your doctor with your common cold and give her or him less time to treat people who are really ill.
