One teacher had a massive impact on my life

Just realizing it now. Actually a tutor of mine really impacted my life in a lot of ways that I never noticed until recently. Especially in regards to parenting. She parented 12 kids and was extremely religious but she was the best mother. Everything she did and said to her kids had a plan behind it for their development. I feel that I got a really good education through the years she taught me.

Many people have a teacher or some other mentor that really made a difference in their lives.

Make an effort to locate that teacher and send them a thank you and appreciation letter. You will more than make their day...

    Odin? Zeus? Huitzilopochtli?

Or maybe you're referring to Enlil, the Sumerian god of breath and wind? He has seniority over a lot of "true gods" since he was worshipped about a thousand years before some (quite possibly mythical) Jewish dude on a mountainside (allegedly) heard a burning bush talking to him.

I find it interesting that alot of the stories in the bible are virtually copies from pegan egyptian stories (cain and abel, noahs ark). Which means the religion is far older than we thought

        Sssssh! šŸ¤«

You're not supposed to mention that stuff. It screws up the whole idea that the Jews were a chosen people who had a contract with God to be the exclusive recipients of His blessings and His word. And if that's called into doubt, it kinda calls into questions the divinity of a certain Jewish dude who was (supposedly) alive a couple of millennia ago.

Yeah that information of the similarities is usually brought up to debunk the god of abraham but for me it gives it more validity because we know that the religion is actually older. The older a religion is the better in my opinion. Especially a religion of the people of Egypt who were very advanced. Also if the jews were actually enslaved in Egypt that adds up to where they would have gotten their religion from
