On telegram i have several eye symbols on my private account

I use a social media platform called telegram and have a couple friends (mostly family) added there. I also have a private account that I basically just use as my to-do list and nobody is directly invited. But many of the messages I post have several eye symbols (that apparently means somebody is watching it). My weekly shopping list (that I change all the time) apparently have 17 views, and I don't even have that many friends added in total. Are there people watching without me knowing? Or is it a technical error?

    Maybe the eye symbols are how many times you have viewed it? Are they consistent throughout the day and go up when you open it?
    Sounds weird to me.
