Have very faint memories... She is 6 years older. As an adult, I understand her actions as sibling rivalry..she was a kid too and probably hated the attention I was getting from parents and everyone around her.

Of course were all grown-up now and nothing like that happened again. Today we have a healthy sibling bond and look after each other.

This episode was confirmed by my nanny who I met recently. She was the one who had prevented my sister from murdering me.

I'm in mixed state of mind..should I forgive her for it?

    It's normal to forgive her for something she did as a kid, however murder at 6 is not normal. That kind of action is beyond being unable to control her emotion. I wouldnt be surprised if your sister remembers what she did. Ask her about it. Because she was really going to kill you.

    You don't have to forgive her if you don't want to of course, and I don't think you owe her a damn thing. You can even confront her about it if you so choose.

    I dont know if it is normal, but my sister tried to do the same thing when she was 2 years old and i was 4 weeks old. My parents told me this years ago and that they saved me. They have to lock me in a room when they were not watching me so that my big sister dint try to strangle me again.

    It's hard to know how much kids really understand. Did she know she could kill you like that? Did she know what that means? Some kids have shot their siblings because they were to stupid to understand the reality of the situation.
    Most children are basically sociopaths.
