Tell him to slow down. Tell him what's on your mind. I'm not saying it's impossible, but after 5 weeks, it's most likely lust. Maybe he's already decided that you're the most beautiful and compatible woman he's met and he's trying to prove something to you. Or, he really thinks he's in love. Or, maybe he is. Or maybe he just wants to have SEX? Who knows. But you're obviously not on the same page, which is understandable. Whatever he means by it, it's important that YOU express where you stand.
"Listen, Johnny. I appreciate you being a gentleman and expressing your feelings, but I really wasn't expecting that. We've only dated for a short time, so there's no way that I am capable of being in love with you yet. I haven't gotten to know you that well. But, thank you?"
