Well maybe they don't execute gays but who knows what they'd do if they were the government as in fundamentalist muslim countries?
How are christians 'demonized' by the secular 'majority'? To give only one example, do you regard the exposure of the countless 'men of god' who've sexually exploited and abused both adults and children in their congregations as demonising these disgusting and in most cases unrepentant creatures? And I won't start on the financial exploitation by evangelists ....
I don't agree with child abuse by anyone, obviously. But unfortunately it happens in and outside of religions. They can view things such as gay marriage and abortion as religious persecution.
So is that your view, that gay people marrying and women refusing to carry an embryo which will become a baby she has to give birth to, amount to religious persecution?
If so, please explain, if not don't spread such bullshit any further please. Personally, I don't believe it's a coincidence that the current beatup and furore over gay marriage is happening when more and more religious figures are being exposed as serial sexual predators: it couldn't be to distract us from the disgusting behaviour of religious leaders, could it????
Offensive or not?

If OP's suggesting gay people are necessarily crazy, then of course it's offensive

Yeah and a fair proportion are "crazy" because of how they're treated by groups such as fundamentalist christians and muslims

I would say that fundamentalist Christians treat them better than fundamentalist Muslims.
One could argue that Christians are crazy because of the way the are demonized by the secular majority.
