How are christians 'demonized' by the secular 'majority'? To give only one example, do you regard the exposure of the countless 'men of god' who've sexually exploited and abused both adults and children in their congregations as demonising these disgusting and in most cases unrepentant creatures? And I won't start on the financial exploitation by evangelists ....
I don't agree with child abuse by anyone, obviously. But unfortunately it happens in and outside of religions. They can view things such as gay marriage and abortion as religious persecution.

Yeah and a fair proportion are "crazy" because of how they're treated by groups such as fundamentalist christians and muslims

I would say that fundamentalist Christians treat them better than fundamentalist Muslims.
One could argue that Christians are crazy because of the way the are demonized by the secular majority.
