I guess that, to me, I can't love life without being a bit afraid of it ending. But if I have to be scared of death to enjoy life, then I'm gonna have to stay this way. As I grow up I'll probably stop being scared of it like you did.
You're only a little older then. And I'm a strange mix of mature and immature. A good portion of me is still just a little kid, while part of me thinks that I'm not mature than most adults, sometimes. Just part of growing up, I suppose.
In my mind, I'm mature, mentally, but emotionally and some parts of my mentality is still immature- mainly because I don't know how to control them, lol. I just don't like it when really young kids think they're mature when they're not (don't get me wrong, there are really mature 14 year olds and what not.)

I'm not afraid of death... but I can't describe why :/. I love life, just not afraid of death. I used to be a little scared of it, though.
