Obsessed with guys and their guitars

I'm a rocker chick through and through. I love music and pretty much decide if a guy's worth my time based on his music interests. It's kind of a deal breaker for me. But I'm a HUGE sucker for a guy with a guitar, but he's gotta know how to play (I can spot a poser). It's even better if he's got piercings and tattoos. I feel like sometimes I'm being a bit close-minded to other great guys. Also, I'm African-American, and I seem to only be attracted to these types of guys, who are predominantly white! Is it normal to try to judge a possible relationship on music?

    Any guitarist that tries to play guitar just to get girls is pathetic in my opinion. From what I'm reading it seems like you are purposely looking for posers, you know those pin cushioned tattooed D bags with long hair that feel like the man because they can just barely learned how to play power chords and tune with their chromatic tuner to get those "deep notes" in drop C

    I agree, guys with guitar knowledge and skills are very attractive. But I go for the more acoustic guys, and not really hard rockers.

    I can spot a poser too. You seem like one. No offense but you labeled yourself. Labeling is one thing I can't stand.

    i m a guy who knws how to play guitar pretty much.let me tell u.i can play master of puppets without solo,fade to black with solo,and many other metal stuff..and i write my own stuff also.but i m an indian..if thats a problem for u.but let me tell u r a perfectly normal.u r a rocker chick and u should be proud of that.not a lot of chicks understands what a guitarist goes through to reach a certain level.i have worked my ass to get to where i m.there were times i used to get frustrated and just felt like kickin ma own ass.but now i knw and i can say i m proud of that.........
