Objective impression or pre-determined prejudice.

When you encounter a new person be it at a workplace environment, party, resturant, or coffee shop, do you base your initial impressions off of objective observations or rather by pre-defined prejudices. Do you find your inclination to form impressions of people vary by environmental situations, say a familiar location or neighborhood versus someplace unfamiliar to you.
Does your initial impression of people also vary by there ethnic or cultural origin?

    I never have an opinion of someone until I get to know them. It's ignorant to judge someone right when you meet them.

    I think few people recognise their own prejudice, but few people could honestly say they interpret these things objectively. In keeping with that caveat, I think I am able to be mostly objective most of the time.

      Are you suggesting people are virtually unaware of their prejudice? Or their inability to discern the difference between whats objective or subjective? I strongly support prejudice is formed on nievity. People make presumptions of things in which they're incapable of understanding. Especially in terms of interacting with different people.
