Thanks, I'm trying to put a positive stand on it all and trying to put the past behind me but when a guy is making passionate love to me my mind is going back to what can only be described by me being raped especially in the early days when I was totally against the idea my ex had and was made to sleep with his friends.
I feel for you. You can get past that; but, how to work through that is likely beyond this forum. It is the kind of thing a good Counselor or Life Coach that you trust can help you with. There are things I don't post on this forum (such as my current profession); and I am not on IIN to make any money (part of my personal charity to assist people in the world). I cannot promise that I can assist more than perhaps providing some recommendations; and whatever I can do for you will not involve any payments or services from you to me if you chose to go down that path. Have you checked out the benefits of IIN Gold?
Thank you, I do need some form of help as my mind and feelings when having sex are all over the place. No longer do I enjoy a guy making love to me, I have no feelings and it feels like I'm laid there legs spread wide just so a man can pleasure himself deep inside my pussy. I'll take a look at IIN Gold.
It's unfortunate that situation has developed with you. I do know that it is possible to regain the ability to enjoy sex again, and to live a fuller life; which usually happens with proper assistance.
I think you know what you need to do, and I'll admit its difficult. The hardest thing I've ever done was to go through 6 months of counseling with my wife on some sexuality and marriage issues we were having. We both emerged with a much clearer understanding of ourselves, each other, and with a stronger marriage. That specific counselor worked with a lot of sex abuse victims and helped many return to a normal more enjoyable life. I learned a lot about human sexuality during that time (and how ignorant I was prior to that).
I wish you a full recovery, and hope you find the right person to help.
Please note that sometimes it takes several attempts to find the right counselor or life coach, which is often frustrating. But find the right one for you.
Also; many licensed counselors work with sexual abuse situations. However there is a much smaller group that are "Sex Therapist" (which is a specific specialty recognized by the national organization for psychology) that deal with a much larger range of human sexuality issues. It's the later that my wife and I went to as ours was a human sexuality issue and not an abuse issue. They are not that many of those (only 2 in Wisconsin); but, it really was the right choice for us. While I consider that your situation does include some abuse; I also feel that you would likely do better with someone who specializes in sex therapy.
There is no licensing requirements for Life Coaches. The good ones could help you too.
I wish you the best, and believe in you and your potential.
Thank you for all your kind help and recommendations. I think a sex therapist is the way forward, I need to get my confidence back and enjoy what is a natural pleasure between a man and a woman. I have been used and abused by so many men and the majority of it was not pleasurable. I need to rebuild my life and try to put this whole episode to the back of my mind, not easy knowing that in excess of 50 men have used me for their sexual pleasure but it is something I have to do. I will search out a qualified person a make an appointment to start my course of therapy. I know it wont be easy having to describe the events of the past but it's the only way move forward to regaining and getting my life back. Thank you again for all you have done and for the time taken replying.
