Normal to love being alone?

I feel more relaxed when I'm at home alone than anywhere else. I love living alone and cannot stand having any roommates, even if it's someone I get along with (plus there have been too many times where someone I know, or myself stops getting along so well with someone once starting to live together). I love being alone. Is it normal?

    I like being alone only because people are mean to me. I want to have friends tho as long as they are nice.

      Yeh. There is lot of meanness in today's world. Actually, people have always been shitty to each other, it's just the specific types of meanness that has changed. A long time ago, it was largely racism and segregation shit. Today, it's the more modern superficiality and no one ever trusts anyone anymore.

      Yeh, if so many people didn't act so shitty, I'd feel differently, but maybe not actually, because I still need my space
