Normal to be sad over this?

This summer, my friends and I have been talking for hours at night on Skype. It's gotten to the point where I look forward to it all day, and it simply gets me through the day sometimes. Well, lately most of my friends have been talking without me and with someone else instead. It's been upsetting me to the point of tears at times, as it feels they're "replacing me". Is it normal to get upset over something like that?

aw, sorry to hear that. and yes it is normal, because nobody wants to feel replaced. either tell your friends how you feel, or find new friends. :)

Yeah, it's totally normal. Well, if they have other friends, but still talk to you quite a bit, and you were sad over this, maybe you'd need to work out some insecurity issues. But if it feels like they're talking to you less, and you're not as close as you used to be, I can totally understand that and relate. :/

I absolutely hate the feeling of getting replaced. It sucks. Open your options, have a good amount of friends and not just those?

Most definatley, Even if they are not meant to do it, people can sometimes be blind to the emotions which they are causing.
Talk to them about it, any real friends would understand, if they are replacing you as such then they're not good friends.
