Normal i think intuition is a real thing?

I strongly believe in intuition. I have ignored mine too many times and got myself in some toxic relationships when I should have listened to that inner voice.

If by intuition you mean understanding anything and everything simply by going with your gut feeling, then that can't be right. To take the most obvious example, intuition tells us that the sun ignites every morning, spends the day slowly sliding across the sky, then disappears below the horizon and fades out in the evening.

However, if you mean that intuitions about people are often correct, then you have a point. We're social animals by nature, and we pick up a lot of clues about people which we're not consciously aware of. (Generally speaking, women are better at this than men.)

Having said that, you need to be aware of confirmation bias (a natural tendency to see only things that confirm what we already believe) and the related halo effect (a tendency to ignore evidence of negative traits and behaviour in those we like, and vice versa).
