1st of all i say look up the age of consent laws in your state. Age of consent is differant than being an adult. Most states are around 16. some less, and some 18. Some states also have differant laws for boys than girls. Only 100 years ago, 13 year olds married guys in their 40s and had large farms and families. strange how now we worry about a 17 year old thats probably been having sex for 3 or 4 years already. Maturity is the issue, not age when she is 17. Read your laws, and if she is legal and consenting go for it. I dated a 16 year old when i was 22. Also when i was 16 i dated many older women. I learned a lot, thanks to those cougars ;)
