Where did I put words into anyone's mouth? Which thoughts have I put into people's heads "that don't exist"?
Very strange.
All that's happening here is I'm defending the cultural output of the rest of the world beyond the US, and speculating as to why (in my admittedly limited experience) so many Americans don't indulge in that output.
I'm not having a go at you, specifically, or saying that you behave in one way or another - I don't know anything about you.
