Non-linux os feels like prison

I use Linux a lot, I like Linux a lot, mostly because of its customizablity
But most of the labs at college, internet cafe, or any other labs, they have only windows in it.

When ever I use it I feel like, I'm in a pison / someone just cut off my wings.

I feel like this is not normal because,
Most of the people use windows even if Linux is free and comes in different flavours & they don't feel what I feel..

That's because you're using public computers with an OS you're unfamiliar with. I'm a relatively tech-y Windows user, and I can do pretty much anything I need on Windows 7, but I can do very little on Windows 10 because I'm not used to it.

Get a bootable USB and install a Linux distro on it with memory persistence. Plug it into any computer on campus and it's basically like using your home computer

I guess it would seem like that for really techy people. I just hate Windows cos it's really bloated and it's terrible for privacy.

Seriously, dude? 🙄 It's just an OS.

I run Windows on the PCs I use most often, and Linux Mint on an ancient laptop that's too crap to handle Windows 10. As long as I can do the stuff I want and need to do, either is fine by me.
