No reply after asking for date

So I was gonna ask a girl from my school for prom and I texted her over FB. And she responded and we talked for a while even tho we barely see each other at school which makes things awkward. Anyways, I asked her for a date but did not arrange the location or the time. So a few days later I was gonna ask for the location and place of the date and she never replied but I could've asked her at school but I didn't now it's all awkward between us as I think she was not interested and I'm never gonna text her again.

    Trust me I had a crush and I asked at school while my friends stood at the back looking super happy for me and me studring 100mph and she picked the guy who asked her out over snapchat

    FB really?? step up to the plate. Next time you see her, in person, ask her out properly and tell her a time, place etc.

    So lame when guys ask me out over text or fb. I'd rather go out with a dork who asks me in person than a hot guy who hides behind his phone.

    Also, you wouldn't know if she has seen your text. If you have the guts to ask her to prom then you should have the guts to face her in person. Seriously.

    In future if you want to date a girl,suggest something to do instead of saying a date,like hey I was thinking of going ice skating this weekend,would you wanna come with me? ... then it's not so much pressure.its always better to do that and get to know someone then say straight out that you want to date themor go on a date (even though it's still a date) with this girl,she may not be into you or maybe she is and you scared her off or maybe she's just shy about it. I'd probably just next time you see her say hi or just smile and start a random conversation about the class topic or anything you can think of to talk about or just say"hi,you alright.." just try and take it back a step and see how she reacts
