No period for 2 months, but i’m a virgin?

So I stopped taking the pill (I was on it to control my hormones) 2/3 months ago, and I haven’t had a period since stopping that. I know I’m not pregnant as I’m a virgin but what could be the cause? I’ve come off the pill before and it’s never been this long a wait till my period. I’ve been under a lot of stress recently, and I also gave up drinking 2/3 months ago, could this be the cause? I’m 20 and have been having regular periods since I started my period when I was 11 so I know it’s not normal for my body.
Does anyone have any advice/similar experiences?

    I would talk to my doctor if I were you, there could be many different reasons for this.

    Let your OB/GYN know. Stress, weight change, low body fat, hormonal shifts (caused by coming off the pill), among other things, can disrupt the menstral cycle. You listed two known disrupters. Typically the body will self correct in 2-3 cycles, so what you describe is typical, but talk to your doc to be sure. Good luck.

    It can sometimes take a while to re start a normal period again if you have been taking the pills for a while because your body has been depending on them
