Surely if you found yourself in the misfortuneate situation of having shat yourself in public you would have a problem wether or not you were wearing a pair of panties. Correct me if I'm wrong.
My pants and shorts are all pretty tight, that's why. I don't have long dresses or baggy pants or anything that would make it unnoticeable. I once went commando to high school as a dare with my friend (she won the bet we had) and I felt awkward the whole time. Especially since I wore skirts back then, and I had to keep my legs constantly clamped shut whenever I was sitting down in class.
