No friends?

is it normal to have pretty much no best friend? i have a girlfriend ive been with for a really long time and allmy free time is devoted to her and vise versa. we dont ever go out and party and rarely socialize with large groups of people. we are deeply deeply in love and almost certain we will speend the rest of out lives forever, but it seems i dont have a best guy friend. i mean i have tons of friends but no one i really hang out with alot. i used to, but my girl has changed my life. im not all that upset, its just i dont know if its normal or not. her and i never get sick of eachother either.

Is It Normal?

  • Its probably better for the two of you to hang round with more ppl. You never know what the future holds and it might be usefull to have back-up friends. And one must always have a best friend. Preferably from the Same sex

  • I personally couldn't live without someone who was exactly like me, thought like me and lived like me (aka a best friend) but I know plenty who do just that every day.

If you can stand to be without that then it's normal and healthy.

  • I wish my husband had no friends. Every night is a party night. Go out and meet couples with your girl.

  • it happens when you have a relationship, your friends come second to your new partner and although that might be moraly wrong, in most new relationships its the case. and over the years you end up seeing less and less of your friends, who by now are just associates because you grow apart. dont get me wrong its not always like that, but for us mear normal people sadly it is. so yes in my oppinion its normal.

  • It's better to have no best friend, it shows you don't rank people on a hierarchy.
