    I have fat family members and I think this is a mischaracterization.

        I just want to say you are right. We are way too soft on fat people and dont call them out when they start that bs about how they cant lose weight because of money or some thyroid bs. You look at 3rd world countries where people are actually poor and starving and the poor ppl are not fat! Hows that?
