Autisim covers hundreads of things. My paticuler form of autisim is PDD Aspergers. there are many othere kinds Autisim is an umbrella term. But all forms of Autisim have certin properties in common.

Difficulty in Preceptual Skills
Those three can be futher broken down but i wont list them all because the lists go on and on.
Emotions
I only have 4 Happy, Sad, Depressed and Angery and im lucky if i can cry twice in a year.
The rest i try to imitate if i think a situation requires it. For example I have never felt Solom but i know at funerals your suposed to feel solom, and from watching Movies i learnt to imitate Solom. Stand heels together head lowerd back streaght wearing black robes. And raise your hand up and down to your eyes with tissue in it.
Depending on the kind of Autisim you have if indeed you have any (you need an ADOS and DISCO assessmeant to find out) That will begin to explain how your emotions are being blocked out if you are able to feel them, or why you dont have certain emotions like me.
