Need to get my hpv treated asap!!!

Ok this is really embarassing and I've never told anyone but I am 99.999%% sure I have genital warts. I have read up on it, and I know that they are very common (especially in your teens and 20s...I'm 19). But my problem is getting them treated. I want to see a doctor because I have read that they can give you the best treatment, but I'm not sure how to go about doing this because I know I can't tell my parents. I want to go somewhere free or inexpensive, but I don't know how to find a place. The thing is, my family has insurance, so I don't know if I would qualify for free treatment (if there is such a thing). I need someone to look at it soon...any suggestions??? Please help!

    Go to a clinic. Though, it may not be a bad idea if your parents know what was wrong with you...

    If you're in the US, planned parenthood does confidential services, just look around in your area and see what free clinics are closest to you. Also, if you're a girl, you're gonna want to find a gynecologist and get your paps regularly, there are a few strains of hpv that cause cervical cancer.

    You should tell your parents for I to have Genital warts. first off its nothing to be embaressed of its life you made choices that lead to this now its time to take ownership. Go to your parents or parent whover you have a good relationship with or most comfortable with and tell them of this problem you have. You do not need to be scared of your parents knowing this they will always love and care about you. But they will help you seek the best doctors for the job and this cant be cured but your body can make this virus go dormant which means you are not cured but ur body will not be affected by it. Your body can fight this virus alone but only if your immune system is up. so remeber eat healthy excercise and keep up on your doctor visits till it is situated and you should be fine.

    Poster. Dunno where you are but there should be a family planning or gum clinick around some where. They are free in the UK. Elsewhere I don't know. In any event, you should get it checked out. I can tell you what the treatments are if you want. Just get back to me if you want them listed.
