Need to be friends with my ex's

I don't think you should NEED to.. Why do you feel like you need their approval? That's why you split in the first place, right? That being said.. It's case by case.. I'm friends with one EX and I would never breathe a word to the other

it's selfish on your part. Why do you want to still know your exes? Don't you think it would hurt them to be around you and not be with you? Cuz it will! I promise! Just let them move on.

Me to kills me that I am awkward with him. I mean I liked him, that's why we were together in the first place. I still want to see my exes after we break up, but as friends, and you know what it actually works out. Like we go to the mall and wath a movie and it's actually platonic and enjoyable.

I know how you feel, I like to be friends with my Exes, possibly because once I get close to them I don't want to let go...but most of the guys I date were my friend before we went out so its harder to let go I suppose. although two of my exes are gay & we couldn't be closer friends...I still can't let go of one of my exes....figures that the one I fall in love with thinks it would be if we weren't friends..you get close to them & want to stay friends at least because you like some of the qualities they have
