Need advice on my current situation

so i'm 18, and my bf of 7 months is 26. it's going very well and i love him a lot! and i know he loves me. but some of my friends have been saying that he's psychologically immature. he used to do a lot of drugs, but he became sober and now he only smokes weed. he's trying to get off of it same with cigs but then he does it again. whatever not my place to say anything. he's 26, and he just graduated from community college and now he's going to a good UNI. but his parents still pay for his stuff, he gets money from them, and he doesn't have a job. he says he will get one once he's done with school, and that both school and a job is overwhelming.. is that bad? i don't really care but my bf says that's not good. and we used to do a lot of date stuff and he still pays for me but sometimes he can't.. idk
