    I think belly bars are infinitely nicer than rings.

    I got mine done not because of some bizarre idea that they're especially "hot" or make a girl seem "hot"/"skanky", but to celebrate having survived my first year of university.

    The only time I'll willingly let someone else see is if I'm in bed with them, or I happen to be in a situation where I need to be nude or lift up my top (Sometimes at the doctors, in an onsen etc etc)

    err.. This might sound a bit mean but I think tht belly rings make people look like sluts.

    Or maybe I'm just too much of a dorky prep?

    I dunno. A friend of mine asked me if they should get a belly ring once and I just laughed a little, smiled and said "yeah, it would look great on you!". I wasn't trying to lie to her but I couldn't bear to tell her.. but now that she's gotten one,she wears these slutty belly shirts that are really unflattering and she looks like a whore. i regret telling her it looked nice.

      Belly shirts aren't slutty. They are a great fashion look: flirty and and a bit show-off, fun and a tease.
      That is not slutty. That is fun and feminine and I love it.

      Lol the truth is nice.... Idk why you'd lie to your friend but okay? Lol. And I don't want a ring, I think those look nasty, I want studs. Also, it moght sound odd but honestly I'm sick of being thought of as the "innocent one" and stuff.

          Nope, quite frankly I'm sick of it. Anyways, I wouldn't show it unless it was appropriate, like with a swimsuit or crop tops in the summer (which I wear anyways).

    Personally, I think it makes someone look trashy. But maybe thats because everyone I know who has a belly-piercing IS trashy.

    I prefer unadorned navels, because I love women's belly buttons and like an unobstructed view.
    On the other hand, navel piercings can be very alluring and a lot of fun during intimate moments.

    I think they are cool and interesting. I would never do that since they look painful. I also like the earings that snake through your ear.

    i have a belly bar,i think it looks good but i hate the dangly blingy ones they look kinda trampy, having a belly button piercing doesn't make someone slutty and anyone who thinks like that are extremely close minded and aren't worth wasting your time thinking about, if you like it just get it.

    To be honest, I never really found how belly button piercings were attractive. It's not a dig at people who get them, but I just never found them attractive, so that is why I chose 'Mildly unattractive'.

    If a girl decided to get one, I'd be ok with it. It's not like I'd object to it.

    Since WHEN does the word HOT (look it up in the dictionary) refer to things like belly button piercings.
    Hot = temperature, overexcising, working over a hot stove or flame - all descriptive terms for HOT - no mention anywhere of sexuality, appearance, apparel, etc etc..
    Strange language this English is, OR is it the people who use words inappropriately..?

      For your entertainment, I DID look up "hot" in the World English Dictionary. It is listed as definition #13: (informal) sexually attractive. Hope I answered your question.
