Nasty chewing noises

Is it normal to hate the sound of someone obnoxiously chewing their food with their mouths wide open that your able to hear that loud smacking sound?? I was sitting in class and this kid was chewing on gum or something right behind my seat... i wanted to turn around and slap his face so hard that it would fly right outta his mouth.

    Yes, I hate the loud sound of chewing food, it sounds nasty, it makes me want to hit them too. That and chewing gum like a cow must be the most nastiest sounds humans came make.

    Yes! I hate that sound, makes me sicker than ammonia did today. Playin music helps me, but i try to have music or something occupy my mind so it doesn't get to me. It's my massive pet peeve
