Well I tried, OP. Now can you help me? It is a late 80's/early 90's low budget film (or maybe just 80's) about a loco mother who sacrifices her young son on a mountain or hill while the song "what if God is one of us" plays in the background. Name it! My parents showed this movie when I was 4 like it was completely normal and it was rather shocking. I need to rewatch to get a decent gauge of my sanity.
