Name this movie from the late 80s or early 90s. I have only seen this movie once and would like to see it again. Thats where you come in. Yes, you.

This is a movie about a kid who goes off on an adventure to find what he's been missing in life. he wears a wow baseball cap upon his head. While off on his adventure his cap gets knocked off his head and he realizes what he's been looking for when he looks to his cap reads the word mom.

Thats all I remember. Name it. You sit there. You think about it then you name.

      That's what I thought of too, but I can't remember if there as anything about a baseball cap...maybe it's "The Neverending story of the angels in the outfield"

        I hate the people don't realize the original Angels in the Outfield was about the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Tony Danza / Danny Glover movie was a remake...

          Well I tried, OP. Now can you help me? It is a late 80's/early 90's low budget film (or maybe just 80's) about a loco mother who sacrifices her young son on a mountain or hill while the song "what if God is one of us" plays in the background. Name it! My parents showed this movie when I was 4 like it was completely normal and it was rather shocking. I need to rewatch to get a decent gauge of my sanity.

        I'll always remember that Atrax scene sinking in the Bog of Eternal Stinch. And Jonathan Brandis whom stared in the second movie hung himself in his friends apartment bathroom. Little more trivia there

    Unfortunately, I do not know the movie that you're referring to, but I google'd your description of the movie, and it comes up as "A Goofy Movie".
