Yep, have been into it off and on for a very long time with both men and women, mainly as a submissive, which is definitely NOT what I am in the rest of my life, quite the contrary.

My first recommendation is BE CAREFUL! In my experience, both in casual and longterm relationships, is that very many dominant types get off so much on the power that they drift into non-consensual acts and/or lack of respect generally, also attempts to dominate the submissive outside the sexual scene. This is easy for them to do because there are always more submissives around than dominants.
COMMUNICATION is essential: clear boundaries and safe words. Build up slowly with someone until you know you can trust them.
