I'm sorry but I don't find this to be normal. Especially given her and his ages. It really just isn't appropriate. I'm pretty sure if I was a parent of this child and found this out, I would be livid.
I agree. I wouldn't even bathe with one if it was my own. I know that it's the norm in Japanese culture to bath with family, but to me it's just plain weird! I've never heard of baby sitter's taking baths with their charges.
My twin sister bathes with the little boy we babysit.

I know. Honestly I wouldn't bath with any child I was baby sitting regardless of age. That is just really bizarre in my opinion.
