As we have a problem with obesity in the developed world, and awful poverty and hunger in the third world, I have a theory that if we were to cut up and cook obese people who are a massive cost to health services what with gastric band operations, if we sent them as food to people who are starving, not only would it save us money fixing obesity, but also money to feed the starving. It's a perfect solution.

And what happens when they develop the taste for human flesh and come back asking for more after all the obese people are gone? What do we feed them then?
Okay you want to dig in people costing the nhs and other health services? You mention obese people but what about those so drunk they need drips or start fights or fall over and end up in a and e, that's a bigger cost surley. my mum works at the hospital and the amount violent drunks cost the nhs is unreal.
No alcoholism is not incurable, people are usually alcohol dependant as a coping mechanism, remove the issues via therapy or just determination, I know many people who have given up drink.

I really could not help but laugh at this. Are you serious? Thats ludicrous! I do have an idea along those lines though. 1rst world countries mass produce everything.
The stuff which is not eaten or bought by a certain date are thrown in the garbage. I believe anything that has not been bought by a certain date should be sent to other starving countries.
Just so we don't have to waste the food and people are not starving. Makes a lot more sense than randomly dropping a box in the middle of Africa and saying "GOOD LUCK" and not take into account it might be taken by the rich greedy gangsters.
Youre' forgetting, (Or just ignoring) the fact that the developing world have some of the most obese countries right? In fact most of Europe is healthier than countries like Brzil and Mexico, and besides even if youre Machiavellian enough to pull your twisted little scheme off, youd only be feding the worlds hungry for about a day- with meat that could potemtially kill them- theres a reason why cannibalism is taboo in most of human society
Obese people have muscle wastage, therefore more fat than muscle. There wouldn't be much meat, and the meat that would be there would be of incredibly poor quality.
The obesity epidemic is a completely different issue to starvation in corrupt countries.
