You gave her the impression of being someone sensible enough to trust personal information with and intelligent enough to appreciate the inappropriateness of it and not abuse it. Did any of the talks you both had so much as allude to her interest in an affair? Was she really flirting as you said? Was she simply being open and sociable around students whom she thought wouldn't react in an immature and ungracious way about it? She might even have been interested in you but you came on too strong and disappointed her by being so irrational.
