My social anxiety

I’m finally getting help with my anxiety that fucks me over all the time. I’m on one of these dating apps just to try and get a feel for talking to people etc. Plus everyone seems to use them if they’re single. I have found a few nice friends from it and I’m talking to someone currently I’m in to. He works at a local auction mart, there’s a sale on Tuesday night and my sister and her bf have asked if I want to go... but I don’t want too. I know my anxiety is talking because it always does this but I can’t meet him in front of all those people. I’m fine one on one plus we haven’t been speaking long plus I’ll be so shy in front of people, I can talk over text but get me in real life I go bright red etc...
So I don’t know my mum will wonder why I don’t want to go and my sister and it’s driving me crazy.

But if I tell Mum and she says go she’ll pressure me and my mind will go weird.
I just rather meet him one on one.

You could tell them just that, that you'd rather meet him one-on-one. Also if you tell them that you're going to meet him one-on-one instead, it means you won't be able to let your social anxiety get to you and make you back out of it.

Talk to your sister to talk to him and set up a meeting with just the two of you.

It's ok to do things at your own pace. Don't get me wrong, you should definitely step out of your comfort zone from time to time. Work up to phone conversations til you feel comfortable with the guy. If there's something there you don't need to rush it.
