My sister keep saying that I have to gain custody to see my niece who I love so much! I think we’re an absolute pair together she’s so funny and makes me laugh so much I miss her but my sister says I have to pay her to help for food and housing. I’m not in a position to hand over any money because i don’t have any income I’m just a full time student. She is restricting me from seeing her and having her contact with her and she will use blackmail and bribe to make me pay for her to have a meal out or anything she wants like cigarettes. I don’t know what to do please help

    How old is your niece and does she get any say in this? Your sister sounds like a total weirdo who's using your affection for her daughter to manipulate you. Sorry, you can't win in this situation so I reckon you have to accept it and step back.

    From what I gather from this paragraph is:

    1. You're 18+ (college age)
    2. Niece is a minor
    3. You're jobless
    4. You pay for meals and cigarettes while jobless? How?
    5. Blackmail? Bribes? The fuck?

    Also, the only reason you gave for wanting custody of your underage niece is because you two are... great together? Like... is she being abused? Is she being neglected by your sister? You gave no real reason for adopting her, and no money to support her.... At this moment you just sound like a creepy pedo-uncle/aunt.
