She's becoming a hardcore hoarder. I sometimes put empty drink bottles in the freezer, but only to reuse them.
This was my first thought, but why just cans and cups? Is that something people do?
Not unless she plans to take those cans in for money.
edit: Never mind I just read the other comments, it's definitely a hoarding addiction. At least it's not garbage? Would she notice if you threw one away?
One or two? No. But if she saw enough missing to let her know someone was in her room, she'd freak.
It's so weird because she's never done anything like this before.
My sister keeps soda cans and Styrofoam cups on her bedroom floor.
