Even though the legal racket in the USA has been very effective at creating a system where people can sue if you give them a nasty look, most US states only allow a person to launch a civil lawsuit against a spouse in very limited circumstances. In most places, the OP couldn't even sue her sister.
I'm pretty sure most lawyers would get out the divorce forms if someone came to them with this complaint.
