My side of the bed

I just like my girl to be closer to the door, just in case an intruder comes in, I can use her as a human shield.

Only kidding, I actually have always been elected to take that side closer to the door. Just so I have to be the one to get up if there is a noise down stairs.

I have the left side, end of discussion.

Funny, I was just thinking when I was making the bed yesterday that I've always ended up on the same side of the bed through numerous partners, both male and female, for fifty years. I have no idea why, it always just happened with no discussion or negotiation, that I got the right hand side - to be clear, on the right from the foot of the bed.

I don't care which side, but he usually prefers left side.

It depends...my boyfriend's bed is against a wall, so I like to sleep on the side that's easiest to get out of bed. In my bed, you can get out at either side since it's not smashed up against the wall so I don't care.

I am right handed so I prefer the side that will permit my right hand to be free.
