I have scoliosis but I've never experienced pains such as those. I recently had a spinal fusion to fix my curve; maybe you should ask your doctor about it. It helped a lot, but I'm not going to lie to you and say I wasn't in pain. It hurt a lot but was way worth it.
Before, I felt like my ribs were pressing into my hips (I had a 40-something degree curve).
You could also try seeing another doctor about it?

Thank you. I probably won't be sent to another doctor and right now surgery of any sort is out of the question. I was reading that pain is usually from the spine curving and the nerves breaking away from it. I suppose that would explain my numbness, but it doesn't really give any answers for the rest.
