  • She dislikes it, so you should respect that.

It's not unknown for women who haven't done a lot of solo experimentation to be confused about what they're feeling "down there". I have read of women who confused the sensations of an approaching orgasm with the sudden need to urinate for a long time. But maybe your girlfriend's nerve-wiring is just arranged such that the sensation of something in her anus triggers strong feelings that she needs to have a bowel movement.

As others have said, if you think the only options are missionary and doggy, then you're limiting yourself severely. If the fundamental problem is her being very conservative and inhibited when it comes to sex, then you need to have a serious conversation with her and then decide just how important sexual variety is to you. Sex shouldn't be all a serious relationship is about, but both people being completely satisfied with that aspect of their relationship can make it a lot better.

Personally, I think cowgirl is great, and all the women I've been involved with have too.

    • You would not believe the number of men especially those from older generations know that women have orgasms! Luckily just about everyone knows that women can and do have orgasms. I remember sitting on the front porch of a relative with my then father-in-law with some other guys and the girl next door whose bedroom was downstairs was masturbating. She had our full attention! My father-in-law said he didn't believe women did that. I almost choked on my beer. 😂

      • I'm in my sixties, so I guess I'm probably a member of the "older generations" you mention.

Kinsey published his best-selling reports before I was born, Masters and Johnson published their best-seller about sex at around the time when I started to really be aware of the topic, and The Joy of Sex - another book that sold in huge numbers - was published when I was in my late teens.

If any guy of my age doesn't know that women have orgasms, how to help a woman have one, or that women masturbate, it can only be because of either a total lack of curiosity or wilful ignorance. The information has been out there in easily accessible forms for a very long time.
