I don't understand young people and the rush to move out. Living on your own is not easy at all. You have to pay rent and various other household bills like internet, cable, and utilities. Don't forget the cost of food and transportation be it making sure you have enough money for the bus or enough money to out gas in your car, pay your car insurance and maintenance. And the cost of doing laundry.
Not to mention rent nowadays, especially if you live in a big city is very expensive, so being young and having no real work experience or education you are not going to find a job that will allow you to live all by yourself in your own place. You will have to get a roommate, and trust me, it not NOT easy living with someone who isn't family. they will be less tolerant of you and your habits. They will give you shit if you accidently drink their milk or eat their food. And their habits might annoy you as well. You could argue that you could room with a friend but again its not easy living with a friend as the dynamic of your friendship will change over time and you will see their true colours and you might not like what you see.
Between working to pay rent and dealing with a room mate, you will have no time, money or energy to go out and party and live life in the fast lane.
Stay home as long as you can, go to school get s good education and a good job and save your money to buy a house for yourself. it is better to buy than to throw money down a hole paying rent and if you have the opinion of living at home and saving money than do so. Not everyone has that luxury of a supportive family so count your blessings and don't take this opportunity for granted. In the long run you will be happier you stayed home and trust me as you get a bit older your parents will stop restricting your freedom. I recently moved back home to save some cash and to go back to school to take a post grad program and my parents don't say anything to me. I come and go as I please. When I was your age they were very strict and I was not able to do much.
my parents want me to live at home till I am 21 .-.
