My parents are incapable of cleaning dishes correctly

Mate they are at least cleaning your damn dishes no matter how shitty the cleaning they are doing it FOR you. If you think you can do a better job then do it. Maybe it’s the dishwasher or maybe they aren’t pre rinsing the dishes so the hot water is cooking the food onto the dishes.

You know what really helps? Filling the sink up with really hot water, and a little soap, then soaking those damn dishes!

I can relate. My mum was like this. Sounds pretty sexist now but she was basically the designated dishwasher every night and truth be told she did a fuckin horrible job. So bad that I started doing my own dishes and even made the food every night so that I could clean the dishes before she got hold of them. My parents were so fucking stupid. They could have given me many responsibilities and saved themselves so much work...

In our culture we let rodents clean the dishes. They leave them with a sparkly shine and are very hygienic. We don't waste water or money on "cleansers"
