    • But AA makes you believe in a higher power, so they must be evil, right?

      • God as one understands God, or a Higher Power. Higher Power could be anything from a Judeo-Christian concept of God to the Universe itself or science, one's authentic self, nature or the program.

            • AA has nothing to do with religion they don't preach it or talk about.

              • If AA has nothing to do with religion and they don't preach or talk about it; Why is their literature scattered with references to God? 'Give yourself over to a higher power' is one of their favorites. Sure, they use the justification techniques they all learned as addicts to say it doesn't mean God and a higher power can be anything. We know they mean God.
