My mums boyfriend slapped me across the backside for swearing at him.

I was having a mild argument with my mums live-in boyfriend and I lost my temper and said to him F--- Y--.
Then as I turned away, he pushed me up against the kitchen unit and slapped me hard twice across the backside and told me that that's what i get for saying that to him.
It did sting but I was more in shock at him spanking me. I'm 22 yo.
i dont like him that much but my mum loves him and I'm glad to see her happy and if I tell her what happened it might cause a rift.

Apart from telling her, is there anything I can do?

      I could but where does my Mum go from there. I was thinking of moving out anyway, he's creepy towards me so maybe I can just move and leave it at that.

    Ok, look if you really hate him for that bring him to court. You need evidence and may be able to sue him for damages. If you want search for a lawyer in assault.
