Both my parents just turned 20 at the time of conception. Dad wanted me aborted asap and handed my mom the money to do so. Mom sat on it for 3 months, and drank her ass off while pregnant with me during that time. Eventually, she decided to keep me since I'm her first pregnancy and stopped the drinking. I'm shocked I didn't come out with complications from her recklessness. So my life was kept because I was first in line. Unfortunately, she aborted all her other pregnancies after me due to forgetting to take her BC and not loving my dad anymore (Mom casually told me all of this).
Her behavior, plus my Aunts having children so early is why I'm so pushy about women/girls getting on birth control. Seriously, you can get it for free at planned parenthood depending on your income. Abortion should only be an option if raped or ectopic pregnancy occurs. I could have had a big family of brothers and sisters, oh well.
I agree with your outlook on abortions. Some think of it as a form of last resort BC when it's not. I get it's their body, but they gotta be more responsible.
