I was once in the caribbean with my parents. I was underage and had too many drinks (drinking for the first time in my life), so as you may imagine the next day I was hungover as fuck. I felt so sick I couldn't even walk but I told them I was dehydrated because of the heat and they believed me and were very worried. They were scared because there's a serious illness that runs in the family and they thought I was showing symptoms of it. I felt incredibly guilty of making them feel scared when I knew it was just a hangover but I didn't even consider telling them the truth. However, my brother did. So they know anyway. But I still have many other stories like yours.
