My mom doesn't respect my privacy

My mom would often open the bathroom while I'm taking a shower when she needs to use the toilet. One time she opened the shower curtain and stared at me...naked. Like wtf?? Weirdest shit ever. I complain everytime she opens the bathroom while I'm inside and she would always answer "I'm your mom I've seen 'that' before, why are you embarassed now?" And I would always remind her that I'm 18 years old and that she should respect my privacy. But she never listens. What should I do or say to convince her to not do this anymore?

    Moms are weird. My mother does the same stuff. Just lock the door.

    She's disrespectful: if she won't stop doing this after you ask her respecftully and calmly, you could try doing the same thing to her and see how she likes it

    My mom does so. No problem. We often change clothes in each others presence.

    You can't tell your mother what to do, no one can. If you've gone further than shouting "MOOOOOOM", and actually had a real discussion about this, then there's not much else you can do.

    Just; get a job, learn to cook, find a place. Prepare yourself for moving out ASAP.

    My mom comes in when I'm showering but only when she needs it real bad but other than that she don't stare at my naked body 😂

    Your post should be Iin my mom can open locked doors without the key, that's incredible! And ya leave your house, my mom has not once listened to a thing I've told her save your breath

        Is it one of them doors with locks you can open from the outside? Cos some people think your mom have supernatural powers which unlock locked doors 😂😂😂

    in a nudist family the only thing she did wrong was pull back the shower curtain. and that would be wrong even for a nudist family.

    Well, to me it seems normal that she would come in there at will (without realizing she was intruding) but the part where she was staring doesn't seem right. Sounds like she was comparing herself to you or something. You didn't really mention it, but are you a girl? I would just tell her how uncomfortable it makes you and ask her to stop doing that.
